The simplest way to Build a Large List From Scratch

by Niamh Arthur on February 4, 2012

How to Build Large Email Marketing Lists Fast:

1. Set up a way to capture a list

First you need to have an auto-responder where you can collect your list and follow up with them. If you utilize a reputable autoresponder they’ll look after the legal side of things for you so you’re not making any mistakes that might put your email marketing lists at stake.

You also need some sort of REASON for people to sign up to your email marketing lists. I usually recommend beginning with a freebie that may teach your leads the correct way to do something that’s related to your niche.

You can write a straightforward e-book, or make a coaching video and give it away for free in exchange for somebody’s email address. If that sounds like a lot of work, don’t worryyou can actually get rights to market someone else’s PDF.

2. Start Your First List

Once you’re all set-up with an offer you want to drive folks to it. The absolute BEST way I’ve found to get your list going with a bang is to set up a Solo-ad.

A Solo-ad is fundamentally paying people with huge email marketing lists to send out a simple email to their list suggesting that they pick up your freebie offer. Typically you are coughing up for an assured number of people visiting your internet site, and if you’ve a good offer that converts well you may have hundreds on your list from merely a couple well placed Solos.

The explanation why these advertisements work so well is perhaps because you are receiving highly targeted traffic from your niche, who have proven that they actually OPEN their emails! You also are being validated by somebody they typically believe in, so you begin with a list that really wants to hear from you.

The best resource for your Solo Adverts (and Ad-swaps) is Safe Swaps, you see verified numbers of how many clicks these solo ad sellers are sending their clients, and also comments about the people that have most lately worked with them. I select ALL my solos and adswaps thru Safe Swaps. You can enroll in your free account HERE.

3. Grow, grow, grow

After you have even a few hundred people joining your email marketing lists it gets simpler as more doors are open to you.

If you’re short on marketing money you can do Ad-swaps. Find someone else with an identical size list and make them send out a solo e-mail in exchange for you doing the same. Whenever you need an additional gigantic boost get a paid solo in.

You can search for marketing specialists with similar list size and see their adswap reviews in Safe Swaps as well.

This method of building email marketing lists can take you from 0 to an inventory of thousands in a surprisingly short space of time.

How To Use Email Marketing To Further Your Business

by Jill Wilson on February 3, 2012

People are spending more time online and checking their email more often than ever, so email marketing has increased in importance. Read this article to find out how you can develop good email marketing strategies for your business.

When following up with prospects through an email, include an endorsement. You could add something to the communication that conveys a message of immediate benefits. The ending postscript could inform them that they can submit their order info by clicking on the below link.

Show all of your customers and followers that you do truly appreciate their support and value their time, do this by sending emails that are informative, as opposed to spam. Don’t constantly send customers blatant sales petitions. Offer your reader information they need, such as answers to questions, or information about upcoming promotions.

Create one clear message per email. You don’t want bored customers or ones who are overwhelmed by too much content from your newsletter. Create one simple message that is short and direct to the point. Your customers will appreciate not being weighed down with extraneous information.

Although this may seem obvious, making sure that the addresses on your campaign list are accurate is something that is often overlooked, so make sure they are all correct! You don’t want to waste precious time hunting down addresses and resending e-mails after getting dozens of bounced back messages from invalid addresses. This just wastes your precious time!

Limit subject lines in your emails to 60 characters or less. There are many email clients that shorten the subject to reach this length. The end of a lengthy subject line is often just cut off and not seen. More importantly, 60 characters usually provides your subscribers with more than enough information to decide whether they want to read your message or delete it.

Keep tabs on the email marketing campaigns of your competitors. Obtain an email address specifically for this purpose, and sign up for their lists, using it. Seeing first-hand their email messages will allow you to make your email communication much better than theirs. See if you can find niches not addressed by your competition. For instance, you should always try to top their discounts.

There is a lot of information contained in this article, have you been able to digest it all? You may consider bookmarking it, so that you can readily access this information in the future.

Tips for Increasing Opt-In Subscribers to Your Email List.

by Luke Barton on January 27, 2012

In this post I will talk about good ways to increase your subscribe list. I will also reveal a few amazing advices about SEO Link Monster and Make Market Launch.

Finding new ways to keep as well as increase their subscriber base is the goal of every email list owner. Getting people to opt-in to your newsletter/ezine/anything, you will have to ensure the offer is exposed to the right audience and then take the necessary steps to boost the conversion rate. How you can take your opt-in list to the next level by taking simple steps is explained in the article below…

Keep It Simple: One of the main reasons why Internet marketers today are unable to grab the attention of their visitors and turn them into opt-in subscribers is because they’re complicating things for nothing. To stand out in the crowd these days, you need to get away from the busyness and flash. Keep your approach simple in every single way - whether it’s the opt-in form or the welcome email that you send to your new subscribers. The opt-in forms could be getting lost or might not be appealing because it looks just like every other flashy, cluttered and crowded website out there today. Use a lot of white space in your site’s design and also in the emails that you send out because you not only need to grab new subscribers but also make sure that they stick around once they opt-in. Importance of Quality: Regardless of what type of content your subscribers are getting from you on a regular basis, you need to make sure it is of excellent quality. For instance, if you’re producing a newsletter then give content that’s unique, informative and useful. Avoid sending content that says the same thing over and over to your list.

Promote a Monthly Contest for Subscribers: If the gifts given are relevant and useful to them, people will jump at the chance to participate in a contest. A way to increase the subscribers on your list is to offer a monthly contest where all subscribers who sign up to your opt-in email list get to take part. The type of gift you give away each month to the lucky subscriber needs to be of value and relevant to the audience you are targeting. they’ll lose interest in the content you’re offering and won’t find it worth it to be subscribed to your list.

Run a Monthly Contest for Subscribers: Contests are popular with people, especially if the prizes are useful to them. One way to boost the subscribers to your list is to offer a monthly contest for those subscribers who sign up for your opt-in email list. The kind of gift you give away to the winning subscriber each month should be relevant to your target market. For instance, if your newsletter is about “dog training”, you can’t give away an eBook called “Programming for Dummies” - you have to ensure that your gift is appealing to your subscribers or else

You need to work as hard to retain your subscribers as you do to gain new ones. To conclude, as shown in the article above, it is clear that it isn’t hard to increase the number of people that sign up for your opt-in list, rather its a matter of approach.

Still a demand for real post and franking machines

by Duffy Solihull on January 25, 2012

The internet and invention of email has totally changed the way we communicate in general, not to mention social networking. It seems to be the primary way we keep in touch nowadays. Yet we still receive a fair amount of post in the mail every day. It’s a great trend to go paperless with several of our bills, but still, a lot of advertising pours through our front doors on a daily basis.

There are risks to doing everything by email. Certain occasions demand something more formal, like recognition, and letters of acceptance or offers of a job often require a physical letter, even if an “e version” is also sent. Also, emails get lost in cyberspace and end up in spam folders. Often people still feel more secure sending something by registered post.

I think people still like getting physical post as well. Even though the traditional image of someone waking up in the morning and reading the paper over coffee is now characterized by the person waking up in front of the computer screen and checking their emails and internet news sites while still in their dressing gown. Yet, we all like to receive an actual Christmas card at Christmas time, as well as our favourite magazine subscription.

One comes to terms with just how far we are from going totally paperless if they ever find themselves applying for a mortgage or travel visa. Physical copies of bank statements, proof of address, bills, are often required and it is stated something “printed from the internet” will not be accepted. So much for being an ultra-electronic age when in one of those situations!

For this reason, businesses large and small still send a fair amount of post. So much so that it’s a rare business that won’t benefit from a franking machine. Franking machines save money, allow the company to advertise, and save time as well. No staff lost for hours to the post office queue, or running out of stamps at the last minute or getting the postage wrong, especially as it’s so specific these days.

Are you looking for Franking Machine? Find them at the European Postal Systems website.

Tips on How to Capture Your Readers’ Attention with Your Subject

by Yekaterina Avitia on January 18, 2012

The race for supremacy in the internet based businesses has been really heating up and many sites have been put up to help others to get ahead for a small fee. But there are also ways in which you don’t have to pay so much to make yourself a good list of loyal followers. Having a satisfied web traffic and visitors allows you to put up a foundation wherein you can build an opt-in list and make it grow from there.

An opt-in list allows you to provide newsletters to your subscribers with their consent. When people sign up, they know that they will be receiving updates and news from your site and the industry your represent via an e-mail. But that doesn’t mean that all of those who subscribe read them at all. Many lists have been built due to an attachment with free software or for a promotional discount and such. Some are not really interested in receiving e-mails from companies and just treat them as waste of cyberspace and delete or trash them without so much as opening the e-mail and scanning them.

You can change all that. While forwarding an email message is relatively after producing your newsletter. Getting people to open them is not as easy. You don’t want to waste all the time and effort used in making the newsletters, you want people to read them and have their interests piqued. Interested enough to go to your website and look around and most especially purchased and acquire your products or services.

One of the numerous ways you can tempt or persuade your subscriber is by providing a well thought out and well written subject. The subject of an email is what is often referred to when a person or a recipient of an email decides whether he or she wants to open or read an e-mail. The subject could easily be regarded as one of the most important aspect of your promotional e-mail.

Your subject must be short and concise. They should provide a summary for the content of the e-mail so that the recipient will have basic knowledge of the content. This is really vital in grabbing the attention of your readers and subscribers. You want your subject to instantly grab the attention of your subscriber and get them to be intrigued to open up your mail. Remember, it is not necessarily true that a subscriber opens up subscribed mails.

A good subject must always be tickling the curiosity of your recipient. It must literally force the recipient to open the mail. A specific emotion must be ignited and get them to open the mail. It is essential to use specific words to get the reaction you need. Keep in mind that the recipient or subscribers spends only a few seconds looking over each subject of the e-mails he receives. You must grab your reader’s attention quickly.

There are several forms you can use for your subject. You can provide a subject that says your e-mail contains content that teaches them tips and techniques on selected topics. An example of this is using keywords and keyword phrases such as, “How to”, “Tips”, “Guides to”, “Methods in”, and others like that.

You can also put your subject in a question form. These might include questions like, “Are you sick and tired of your job?” Or “Is your boss always on your case?” Try to stay on the topic that pertains to your site so that you will know that your subscribers have subscribed because they are interested in that topic. This kind of subject is very effective because they reach out to your recipients emotions. When they have read the question on your subject, their mind starts answering the question already.

You can also use a subject that commands your reader. Statements such as “Act now and get this once in a lifetime opportunity”, or “Double, triple and even quadruple what you are earning in one year”. This type of subject deals with the benefits your company provides with your product and services.

You can also use breaking news as your subject to intrigue your subscriber. For example, should you deal with car engine parts you can write in your subject, “Announcing the new engine that uses no gasoline, it runs on water”. This causes curiosity with the reader and will make them open the mail and read on.
