Nowadays in this modern technological know-how, computer software requires enormous amounts of system resources and Ram memory. Microsoft Windows does its very best in order to utilize what you already have installed, nevertheless, in many cases that is simply not sufficient. Windows will use something that is termed Virtual Memory. Virtual memory in essence is simply some allocated space that your personal computer will use any time you lack enough memory (RAM). If you are multi-tasking you might in fact end up experiencing an error that will state “Your system is low on virtual memory”. Your personal computer may be running sluggish if the system is low on virtual memory, and you may need to increase it. To begin this, you need to find out various information about your pc and operating system. Windows normally allocates a particular amount of virtual memory by calculating simply how much actual RAM you have. It should then produce the page file to make use of with this calculation, it must additionally take into account just how much memory the operating system will require.

Another straightforward solution is to clean the hard drive up somewhat as Windows will automatically use bits of it to set-up virtual RAM. Windows software cannot actually differentiate between what is the actual RAM based memory and what is the Windows created “virtual memory”. If you have ample space on your main drive, then this may easily solve the error.

Before you customize the settings via your control panel, it is best to run disk defragmentation. Whenever the virtual memory will be placed on your hard-drive, it should work more proficiently if the bits are contiguous rather than fragmented all over.

Steps on how to change your virtual memory settings are listed below:

Can Error Nuker Help Save Your Registry?

by Cassandra Berryman on July 14, 2010

Our very modern period has made us more and more dependent on computers for almost every task. We not only find that computers exist in our offices but also in different public, private and educational establishments.

This great dependency on computers has necessitated in us becoming more aware of how they function.

During the time when computers were still relatively new, users found themselves at loss when it came to troubleshooting. Computer usage during that time was therefore very annoying.

As more and more computers became employed for completing our tasks, we were able to learn more about their possible problems and solutions.

The registry is a very integral part of computer. It is the part of our computer which stores vital information related to our computer. Our system settings as well as hardware information are stored in our computer.

However, as we use our computers, our registries also become filled with errors. These errors make our computers slow down.

We have come to find out that our computer’s viruses are removed by anti-virus programs.

Meanwhile, a registry cleaner is used to fix any errors from your registry. One popular registry cleaner is the Error Nuker.

I have tried the Error Nuker and what I really liked about it was the comprehensive and thorough way that it searched my registry.

This may have resulted in the scan taking longer to complete than most registries but I found nothing wrong in this as when you scan longer, the more errors you spot.

Lastly, I found the Error Nuker to be very convenient. I often forget to do manual scans of my registry which is why I very much appreciated the fact that Error Nuker can do automatic scans for me.

When you only do manual scans, sometimes it is very hard to remember to do one regular. However if you opt for an auto-scan which is possible with the Error Nuker, you won’t have to worry about your registry being full of error since you won’t miss any more scheduled scans.

I really hope you found this article informative. To read about Hydroxycut then checkout my helpful review site. Then take a look at my friends personal Xenadrine page.

by Henry Henley on July 14, 2010

Everything has its share of glitches and nothing can ever withstand the test of time. Gadgets have made it easier for us to get things done in this modern time.

But no matter how revolutionary and up to date our gadgets may be, the reality remains that they will all encounter problems throughout their lifetime and that includes computers.

We use our computers and the internet for almost everything that we have to do. We not only use them to get things done at work but we also do so to get things done at home. We can now do our shopping online.

We can even communicate with our loved ones through the net. But this has made our computers more vulnerable as well.

With all the benefits we get with the internet, it’s sad to know that a few harms can go along with it too. We can get malicious software installed in our computers that corrupt our registries and cause errors.

These questionable programs corrupt our computer registries over time. A registry is a part of our computer that stores important information such as system settings.

Getting a corrupted registry can be very annoying as it causes you computer to crash but the simple remedy to that is installing a good registry cleaner to fix everything up.

I had the same problem just last week so I decided to try this registry cleaner named the Error Doctor. I was glad to notice my computer worker faster after running the scan.

There are two ways wherein the Error Doctor can work for you. First, it can do an auto-scan. By this I mean that the Error Doctor can scan your registry and then fix everything up automatically.

The second option is to have a manual scan. This option allows the user to choose the specific errors that he wants to fix.

For me, there is one feature that I always look for when choosing a new registry cleaner. This is the back up and undo feature.

What the Error Doctor can do is to save a back up file of your registry so that you can restore it if any problem arises.
