As Business Owners we are always looking for ways to increase the effectiveness of what we do. It’s even better when we have fun and enjoy learning while not spending a fortune or consuming a great deal of time.

Since the mid 1990s, I have spent a lot of time and energy studying new technologies and resources to help my clients. In the 1990’s I worked as a Stock Broker for First Investors Inc. with a primary focus on Tech. stocks and start up companies.

People and businesses have used teleconferencing in many different ways over the years. Many started out as “three way calls”. That has bloomed into full fledged teleconference meetings with hundreds of people on the line. Now new technology has made video teleconference training an almost must have for business.

One of the biggest benefits of using teleconferencing is how quickly you can get information out to your employees no matter where they are. If you have multiple offices, or even independent contractors you can get them the information via audio or video teleconference training.

Video conference training can take more than one form. If you are training new employees you can have them watch a pre recorded training seminar via your web conference room. This is something they can do that doesn’t require your involvement. When they have the basics down you can then use an interactive live video conference training so they can ask questions, and learn more about the company and their position. The employer also has a chance to get to know the person better as well.

Many employers are now finding it is cheaper to hire “virtual staff”. This means they don’t have the expense of in house employees, but they do have to manage people all over the country even the world. Video conference training is perfect for this. There is no doubt about it that there are many ways to effectively use web conferencing technology in order to train new employees in your organization, though. Teleconference technology has definitely evolved very far in recent years and there are no signs of it slowing down anytime soon!
